Made From Scratch - ‘Celebrating Julia Carter Preston, Ceramicist’

I’m very pleased to have my work included in a special exhibition at the renowned Bluecoat Display Centre in Liverpool, England celebrating the centenary of influential Liverpool artist Julia Carter Preston (1926–2012).

Five Liverpool venues are coming together to celebrate Julia’s life, work, and lasting influence on ceramics. At the Bluecoat Display Centre, a selection of her work, on loan from local collectors, is being shown alongside the work of several “leading contemporary sgraffito artists”.

I’m especially honored to be the only American sgraffito ceramic artist featured at this venue, showing alongside such an exceptionally talented group.
